About the event

Our club coach Norman Cheung will be running a 10-week novice powerlifting course starting Week 5 (first online seminar Monday, 8pm).

Each week, you will be given a group powerlifting programme for that week, which will form part of a structured 10-week training programme that provides the appropriate powerlifting stimulus for your level. 

In addition, you will have access to a one-hour weekly Zoom seminar, which will include:


  • Discussion and explanation of your weekly programmed training,

  • Form checks on selected videos from people on the course,

  • A seminar on a topic relevant to powerlifting (eg. technique, troubleshooting your lifts, nutrition), and
