William James Prize for Excellence
Generously sponsored by William James (OUPLC Men's Captain 2025/26), this prize will champion disabled lifters who are nationally and/or internationally competitive at the University.
This Prize will begin in the academic year 2026/2027.
Erskine Women's Prize
for Performance
Enabled by a generous sponsorship by Lily Erskine (OUPLC President 2017/18), the Erskine Prize provides £500 per year to fund our best female athletes for international competition.
Through this prize, we:

Champion female lifters at Oxford University.

Remove barriers for the highest performing and/or highest potential athletes for international competition.
Pickering Prize
The Pickering Cup, sponsored by Will Pickering (OUPLC Men's Captain 2019/20), awards £100 to each of the people who achieve the highest raw male and highest female totals in IPF-sanctioned competition, irrespective of weight category.
The Cup celebrates pure, raw strength, to complement the prizes given out for the best male and female lifters at each Varsity.
